Deep Sea Dreaming by Elena Kats-Chernin

Deep Sea Dreaming was written for the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000, as a score to accompany a ballet of floating deep sea creatures. The text of the piece is made up of mostly nonsense syllables sourced from Russian words that relate to sea creatures; the words have been cut into syllables and reversed.
